About Troopers Only
A professional space built around trust.
Troopers Only brings sworn members of the Virginia State Police together in a private, vetted environment for meaningful dialogue, shared experience, and informed participation.
Stronger connections create a stronger community.
Our guiding ideaOur mission
A place for the conversations behind the badge.
The work is demanding, the issues are complex, and useful dialogue needs room to develop.
This community exists so members can discuss working conditions, officer safety, morale, benefits, representation, and the future of the agency with peers who understand the profession.
It also provides a practical way to exchange department updates, training opportunities, legislative developments, and other information affecting sworn personnel.
How we show up
Four principles shape the community.
Membership carries an expectation to participate with the same care the profession demands.
Professionalism
Contribute in a way that adds value to the discussion and the community.
Integrity
Be honest about what you know, what you believe, and what still needs context.
Constructive dialogue
Challenge ideas without turning disagreement into hostility or disrespect.
Mutual respect
Treat every member with the consideration expected among sworn peers.
Why now
The profession is changing. Members need a place to work through it together.
As workplace policy, collective bargaining, benefits, and representation continue to develop, informed discussion matters. Troopers Only gives members room to stay organized, compare perspectives, and engage with issues that can affect daily operations and the future of the agency.
What this is
Independent, member-focused, and intentionally professional.
Troopers Only is not a replacement for official communication and does not speak for the Virginia State Police. It is an unofficial community where members can connect openly, stay informed, and build shared understanding.
